Macroeconomics Flash Cards

4 flashcard games with a total of 240 questions and answers covering all of Macroeconomics are now completed. These activities are mobile compatible so you can study on the go with a phone or table and prepare for your next  Macroeconomics exam wherever you are.

Mobile Compatible Flashcards

I’ve spent the last few weeks learning to code in HTML5 so that new games and activities on this site can be played on mobile devices. My first two mobile compatible activities are a set 44 flashcards for Macroeconomics basics and a set of 81 flashcards for Macroeconomics AS/AD & Fiscal Policy.  They cover vocab, math formulas, explanation points for FRQ’s, and graphs. Take a look and hit the contact link to let me know what you think!

For Teachers

Over the last year, I’ve been assigning the flash review games on this site to my students as homework. I decided I needed a way to make sure they are actually completing them and create some accountability. I changed the final score page for every game so that it contains some important information (shown below) to help me verify student work. After playing the games, students submit a screenshot of the final score page in a google doc worksheet through google classroom. You can see an example in the link below.

If you have any other ideas for how teachers can use resources on this site in their classroom, please contact me in the link below! I hope to make a page featuring ideas for classroom use in the near future.

Thank you!

Rivalry and Excludability

Here is a run-down of public goods, the free rider problem as well as what rival vs non-rival goods and what excludable vs non-excludable goods are. I hope to have a game to practice sorting these different types of goods soon.

Let’s start at the beginning

I realized the other day I hadn’t yet covered some of the very foundational concepts you will need to know on your very first economics exam. So here they are. This page covers scarcity, resources, basic questions, choice, and economic systems.

More Graph Drawing Drills

It would have been nice to get these done before the AP Exam, but I just couldn’t find the time. There are now 27 macro graph drawing questions (plus 5 PPC questions from Micro) with detailed explanations on how to properly draw these graphs so you don’t make a mistake during your next exam. Take a look and let me know what you think!
